Tour difficulty: light, no previous experience needed 

The tour starts by paddling towards the south along the coast of central part of Opatija. After berthing kayaks in a tiny port, the snorkeling enjoyment enrolls at the most attractive part of the rocky shores in a chrystal clear water surrounded with fishes, shells, grassfields and seaurchins. You might meet some courious cormorans as well. After snorkeling you can rest on the beach, take a shower or buy a drink at the beach bar. On our way back we cross the bay offshore having the best possible seaside view of Opatija.

The tour is effected in compact sit on top single Ocean Kayaks Mysto. Besides snorkeling gear (mask and fins) and waterproof bags, lifejackets are available as well. One Yamaha RDS300 SeaScooter is shared by the participants who use it taking turns.

It is recommended to bring a suncream, hat or cap and drinking water.

Participants can leave unnecessary stuff in a locker.

BEACH EXPLORING TOUR

Price: 50€ or 35€ per person if 3 in a kayak

The participants are fully instructed in Croatian, English or German language of all safety issues, touring route, disembarkation and best pebble and natural rocky beaches to be reached with kayaks.

Tour difficulty: light, no previous experience needed 

The tour destination is, of course, up to the participants. The Beach Exploring Map will help you find the most suitable one. You can choose to go to the south to reach Ika (45'), Lovran (1 h), Medveja (1.5 h) or even  Mošćenička Draga (2 h) beach. If you choose northern direction, after three-quarter of hour you will reach beautiful coast Costabella. There you can find several medium sized pebble beaches, some of them equipped with a shower and beach bar. If you prefere more privacy you can find a variety of other opportunities, small hidden pebble beaches (if you are early bird one could become yours), naturist beach and a number of rocky beaches with chrystal clear water. Special bonus, when staying at the northern part of Kvarner Bay, is a fantastic view to Opatija Riviera, Cres Island and a blue southern see horizon. If your choice would be a pebble beach its easy to pull kayak on the shore. For staying at rocky beach you should anchor your kayak close to it. 

The tour is effected in compact sit on top single Ocean Kayaks Mysto and large sit on top double Ocean Kayaks Zest Two Exp. suitable for three persons as well. Besides waterproof bags and anchor lifejackets are available as well.

It is recommended to bring a sun cream, hat or cap, some sandwiches and a lot of drinking water.

SUNRISE ADVENTURE TOUR

Departure: half of hour before sunrise (don't be late, the Sun won't wait for you).

The participants are fully instructed in Croatian, English or German language of touring route towards sunrise horizon, challenges on the way to windsurfers area and relating safety issues.

First twenty minutes or so the paddling direction is the sunrise spot. Majestic natural spectacle is observed in a mystic dawn of Kvarner Bay. Quarter of hour upon the sunrise the tour turns towards the north to visit spectacular battlefield of windsurfers, kitesurfers and sailing boats, famous natural resort of morning winds so much appreciated in the sailing community. You might see some of the world windsurfing champions close in the action. The last part of the tour leads towards the old fisherman village Volosko and a beautiful coast decorated with belle epoque villas, City Hall and charming parks.

Be assured you'll be rewarded for your early wake-up with unforgettable summer memories.

In price is included stable sit on top single Ocean Kayak Mysto, lifejacket, waterproof bag and safety leash.

SOUTHERN SIGHTSEEING & EXPLORING TOUR

Tour difficulty: light, no previous experience needed

The tour leads towards the south close to the Hotel Kvarner, St. Jackob Church and the symbol statue of Opatija, Maiden With a Seagull and continues by passing the Slatina Beach, Marina Admiral and belle epoque villas of Punta Kolova district ending with Villa Ariston on cliffs and Grotta del Diavolo (Devil's Cave) below. The pebble beach Piccolo Paradiso (little paradise) is a perfect place to pull out kayaks and have a rest or enjoy swimming in a chrystal clear water.

After relaxation at the pebble beach tour takes a way back taking the offshore route. After another forty minutes or so the tour reaches basic port Dražica and Kayak Center Opatija.

The tour leads offshore towards the Preluk Bay known for its intact pine forest and recently built lifestyle Hotel Navis. Until the beginning of 20th century on the very same location was located thirty metars long ledder construction for observing tunas coming into the bay. At that point the tour turns to the south along the coast towards the old fisherman port and picturesque village of Volosko. You will discover a ruins of former undefined facility, grand villa on the cliffs, City Hall of Opatija, charming parks, and a pebble beach Lipovica where you can pull out kayaks and have a rest or go for a swimming. Close to the end of the tour you will pass former casino Villa Rosalia and the grand Hotel Ambasador.
